Hala Hegazi is a distinguished figure in the field of media and advertising. She graduated from the American University in Cairo in 1987, earning a degree in Economics. Following her graduation, she established Connections for Marketing & Advertising in 1988, where she played a significant role in managing and leading the company.
In 1992, Hala joined the renowned Orbit Satellite Television and Radio Network as the Deputy Regional Director and Marketing Director. During her tenure, she was instrumental in developing and implementing marketing campaigns that successfully launched Pay Television in Egypt and North Africa. Hala’s responsibilities extended beyond Egypt, as she oversaw the operations in Tunisia, Morocco, and Libya.
In 2009, Hala Hegazi joined Nile Radio Productions (NRP) as the Managing Director and Group COO. Her leadership and management skills have propelled NRP to become a powerhouse in the media industry. The radio brands under NRP, namely Nogoum FM and Nile FM, have gained immense influence with over 45 million daily concurrent listeners. Hala also spearheaded the launch of various subsidiaries, including Nogoum Records, Nogoum FMTV, NRPD Digital agency, NRP Recording Studios, and an emerging artists record label named The Music Hub. These ventures have contributed to the enrichment and disruption of the media landscape in the region.
Under Hala’s guidance as COO, NRP has successfully embraced the digital era by establishing a digital arm. This strategic move has allowed NRP’s platforms to penetrate the digital world and provide a wealth of content in music , radio programming & Podcasts .
