Omar Hilal is a writer, producer, and director. His first feature VOY! VOY! VOY! Has this far won 14 awards at various international and local film festivals, including the Rotterdam International film festival, and was Egypt’s submission to the Oscar’s international Film category in 2023.
Omar cut his teeth shooting adverts for brands in Egypt and the world for 20 years, winning over 50 awards at major international advertising festivals.
He is father, a passionate AS Roma fan, and cooks a mean Beef Wellington.
