Mohamed Farrag is an acclaimed Egyptian actor.
The dedicated actor started his career by joining Khaled Galal’s workshop at the Creativity Center in Cairo. He participated in the troupe’s play “Ahwa Sada” (Black Coffee) in 2009, which premiered to widespread acclaim from audiences and critics alike.
From then on, Farrag landed supporting roles where he showed off his talent, including “El Rahina” and “Alf Mabrook”, which were both box office hits.
He played an unforgettable role in Wahid Hamed and Tamer Mohsen’s “Bedon Zekr Asma’a”, but his breakthrough to the world of acclaim was his role as Aly El Rouby in Tamer Mohsen’s “Taht El Saytara”.
His following collaboration with Tamer Mohsen “Haza El Masa’a” was groundbreaking. He also played exclusively in the big boys’ league; his roles in “Qabil”, “Aho Da Elly Sar” and “El Mamar” are solid proof to that.
He amazed us all in Ramdan 2021 through his roles in “Newton’s Cradle” & “Ded El Kasr” as well as appearing in both “El Ekhtyar 2” and “Khaly Balak Men Zizi”. In 2022, he starred in Room 207 and El A’edoon. Following this year he starred in Harb, played Diaa in Batn El Hoot and last but not least played the role of Hassan in “Voy Voy Voy” the Egyptian film nominated to compete for the Oscars for Best International Film.
