Alaa is an early retired engineer, retired before even working in the field! He started exploring his creative passion just after graduating from industrial engineering to make his debut as a stand-up comedian in 2010. Alaa climbed up the ladder of this field to be one of the most well-known Arab stand-up comedians & continued to tour the region and the world with his material. He started content creation in 2012 as “El Mowaten el Masry”, which was one of the most-watched YouTube channels in the region at the time. After that, he joined the creative field as a copywriter back in 2013 until present day. Alaa now serves as Creative Director at FP7 McCann Cairo, contributing to the advertising scene in the Middle East with some iconic ads. Alaa explored the podcasting field 3 years ago when he started his satirical comedy podcast titled “Kefaya Ba2a”. After just 2 episodes the podcast was trending number 1 on Apple Podcasts and has been on the top 10 list since then.
