LONG BIO:
Taghrid Alhowish is a bilingual Saudi journalist and a main TV presenter at MBC. She
hosts MBC in a Week, a weekly live program that discusses prominent news from the
worlds of politics, social issues, art, and culture.
Before joining MBC, she worked as a presenter and producer at Sky News Arabia in
Abu Dhabi. Taghrid studied in Canada, where she majored in Communication and
Media Studies.
In addition to her media career, Taghrid regularly hosts official events, moderates
discussions, and conducts dialogue sessions in both Arabic and English.
Beyond her work in media, Taghrid is passionate about diving and holds certifications in
both scuba and freediving. She is a board member of the Saudi Water Sports and
Diving Federation and has been recognized as a PADI AmbassaDiver, serving as an
ambassador for the international Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI).
