Raouf El Sayed currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer of The Roof
Productions, an Egyptian-based production house founded in 2014.
El Sayed previously worked as a producer and assistant director alongside national and international film giants such as Steven Spielberg, Michael Bay, Doug Liman, Bruce Hunt ,Len Wiseman as well as Hadi El Bagoury, Tarek El Erian and many more. He has more than 17 years of experience spanning movies, TV commercials as well as music videos and documentaries, making him one of the most sought after producers of his generation.
Raouf made his debut in 2007 as an assistant director to Len Wiseman for Die Hard 4.0 before working on critically acclaimed blockbusters such as Jumper, Transformers and Fair Game. Nationally, El Sayed quickly rose to prominence as a executive producer/Director after developing highly successful shows, including “On Screen”, “It’s Showtime” , “El Mohayesoon 1&2”, “Bara2et Ekhtera3 Khorsheid”
& “Roam Egypt”, and working on several advertising spots for reputable brands like Coca Cola, Vodafone and Etisalat.
From consultation to finished product, Raouf works tirelessly to invent new ways to communicate meaningful messages and share his passion with the public. Raouf El Sayed was born in Cairo on November 14, 1982. He holds a Directing degree from the New York Film Academy, where he graduated top of his class.
In 2007, his work was chosen by the university “Best Film “.
