Nour Emam

Nour is the Founder and CEO of Mother Being. Mother Being is the leading Femtech company for reproductive and sexual education in the MENA region. It is the go-to platform for Arab Women to receive RSH Education through paid courses, articles, podcasts and social media content.
Nour is a Maternal Support Practitioner (Doula) and Sex Educator with nearly 1.5 million followers on different social media platforms. She was recognized as one of the top 10 impactful Egyptians of 2020 by Cairo Scene and is one of the most renowned women in the MENA region who discusses reproductive and sexual health in Arabic through a solid integrated online community.

After having been diagnosed with Postpartum depression with the birth of her daughter 3 years ago, she was determined to create accessible, easy and culture-centered information to women going through different phases of their reproductive and sexual health journeys.

Nour earned her MSc in Sound Art from Goldsmiths University of London. Although she shifted her career from the art world to the Femtech industry, her artistic background enabled her to deliver RSH education content using humor, creativity, empathy and connection in her videos to empower women and break down shame surrounding these sensitive issues.

Nour was featured by BBC News, Vogue, Arab News, The National, DW and more and has worked alongside companies and entities such as Instagram, DKT International, The National Council of Women in Egypt, UNDP & Ritex to bring awareness and education to women online.
