Mohamed Ashour

Ashour has over 17 years of professional work experience in marketing, sales and business development for Real Estate and Oil and Fuels Industry. At ExxonMOBIL, Ashour was part of establishing a supply chain system for efficient fuel dispatching/distribution, in addition to operational execution in 9 countries across Europe, and AME. During the setup and execution of the company’s ERP (SAP & Oracle), he received awards for his performance in running the business and outperforming the assigned targets and KPI’s.

As the Strategic Product Manager for Orascom Development RE BU, he developed project’s master planning concepts, unique selling propositions, product mix, pricing, and architectural designs. Egypt, Oman, Morocco, Switzerland and Montenegro are among the projects he worked on. While handling the Group’s marketing, his focus was on growing the business top line and brand perception to increase sales and institutional investments. Heading and managing the development process of the company’s project in Montenegro’s Lustica Bay, Ashour engages in the company establishment, successfully negotiated the lease agreement with the government, hiring/training team, setting up the sales/business strategy and full business operational needs, brand creation with all the communication/execution plans, legal contracts and distributions channels across Europe. As VP and Head RE Egypt, he over overachieved sales targets and LY achieved sales, aside from increasing the cash flow by over 40%, which was a key focus at the time.

Ashour successfully concluded a protocol with the Egyptian Government to provide 100 plots for Majid Al Futtaim to develop malls across the country. Preparing required feasibilities, deal structuring, negotiations and contract/legal preparations, where amongst the core of what he was in charge of. Recognized as Top Talent, Ashour joined the Majid Al Futtaim Leadership Program, which he successfully completed.

Ashour holds a BA in Economics from the American University in Cairo; attended several interpersonal skills and management courses with ExxonMobil Global Training. Ashour concludes an executive education program with London Business School in July 2019.
