Marwan Fares, once a software engineer, made a remarkable shift in his career to become an actor and stand-up comedian. He distinguished himself as the top-ranked student in Egypt during his high school years in 2014. Commencing his engineering journey at The German University in Cairo, Marwan ventured to Germany immediately after graduation, where he delved into the realm of software development in Berlin.
In parallel to his engineering pursuits, Marwan harbored a profound passion for theater, which he had nurtured since 2012. This passion accompanied him to Berlin, where he actively engaged in theater workshops and performances. In 2020, Marwan embarked on a dual journey, simultaneously exploring stand-up comedy in both Egypt and Germany while continuing his coding endeavors.
As Marwan’s ardor for acting and comedy blossomed, he made the courageous decision to bid farewell to engineering in 2022. Since then, his career has flourished as a professional actor and comedian. Marwan has graced the screens and stages of Egypt, showcasing his talents in various movies, series, and theatrical productions. Notably, he has expanded his horizons further by joining the esteemed Maktoob3alina team as an improviser, contributing to their captivating improvised theater shows
