Studied civil engineering @University of Texas in Austin and spent a lifetime in the world of food. Immigrated from Kuwait to Australia in 1991 and started a meat exporting business in Sydney which led to setting up a meat distribution business, AM Foods, in Egypt in 1996. AM Foods serves high end hotels and restaurants with a wide range of highly specified ingredients. Founded Gourmet Egypt in 2006 to provide better quality ingredients for those who had a passion for food. In 2018 B Investments acquired a majority stake in Gourmet Egypt. Currently CEO of Gourmet Egypt and AM Foods.
