Graduated from Faculty of fine arts “Architecture Department” and now I work as a lighting Artist and designer based in Cairo.
With a passion for creating immersive experiences and a love for the lighting field, I have dedicated myself to crafting visually captivating and emotionally stimulating environments through light.
After obtaining my degree in architecture, I delved deeper into the world of lighting by studying it extensively. This allowed me to develop a specialized skill set as a lighting designer, enabling me to bring unique and dynamic aesthetics to various projects. From product design and landscape architecture to architecture and interior design, I have ventured into different fields, but it is within lighting that my passion truly thrives.
In 2017, I founded my own company called GD Lighting Design. As the CEO and principal designer, I continuously explore new possibilities and push the boundaries of lighting design, constantly evolving and discovering exciting aspects of this ever-evolving field and now working on an exceptional light festival in cairo “Lumino Light Festival” to create a platform for anyone who’s passionate about light.
As an ambassador for “Women in Lighting project” by Light Collective Company based in England , I aspire to empower and uplift fellow female professionals in the industry, hoping to break barriers and inspire future generations of lighting designers.
I believe that light has the ability to transform spaces, evoke emotions and create narratives, immersing people in a world of inspiring moments.
