Gannate is an Egyptian Female entrepreneur that is comfortable beating the odds. As a graduate from Cairo University, she made it with a scholarship to George Washington University for an MBA. With an MBA, she made it to McKinsey for an internship in the Cairo office in 2009. She then had to not accept the offer because she was expecting her first daughter. She spent the next seven years in the US consulting for the US Department of Energy and its National Labs developing and implementing strategies for Energy Efficiency programs. She came back and re-interviewed for McKinsey seven years later, this time with 2 kids. She made it to McKinsey Dubai and three years later got designated as an Engagement Manager. In 2020, she started Foodiena as an F&B Brand Factory that leverages Advanced Analytics to identify white space opportunities for new brands fulfilling emerging consumer needs. She recently raised a 6 figure seed round and is on her journey to beat the odds one more time. She would admit that being a startup co-founder is one of the hardest and most rewarding journey’s she is ever been on.
