Ahmed Samy has around 20 years of experience in marketing and brand management and currently is Edita’s Marketing Vice President. He has joined the company in 2014 as Marketing Manager before moving to his current position in which he is a member of the management team formulating the company’s strategy, not only to fortify its leading position in Egypt’s growing packaged snack food market but also to geographically expand its footprint as a key player in the MENA region. Prior to joining Edita Food Industries, he served as Marketing & Wholesales Senior Manager at Bavarian Auto Group, the sole importer of BMW and MINI in Egypt. Throughout his career, He has previously held a variety of Marketing & sales leadership positions in various multinational companies as he also served as Senior Brand Manager in the Non-Alcoholic Division for Heineken Egypt and as Sales and Retail Manager of the consumer Electronics division for the Near East Area in Philips. He also began his career in British American Tobacco where he held a variety marketing roles.
