Mohamed Khaled holds the position of CEO & Managing Director of Misr Italia Properties (MIP). With more than 16 years of experience in Real Estate, he is able to manage a diversified portfolio, and has played a significant role in the company’s transformation over the past two decades, leading to its expansion in several new locations across Egypt such as New Cairo, the New Administrative Capital, the Red Sea and the North Coast.
Mohamed Khaled El Assal is a shrewd, forward-looking leader, who is consistently focused on ways to innovate and integrate technology and sustainable practices, as well as socially responsible initiatives into the company’s operations and properties. His role at MIP role involves owning the vision and steering the company to achieve its main strategic intent, delivering on commitments to customers, developing the people of the organization, maximizing shareholder value, and giving back to the community and Egypt by creating shared value.
Mohamed Khaled supervises, delivers and drives the company’s performance, emphasizing working with KPIs to track results and setting a high bar for the level of performance. His main areas of focus include revenue, construction, and SG&A’s. Passionate about innovation in the industry, he possesses a keen eye for the evaluation of current and future market trends, as well as assessment of the feasibility and profitability of next steps.
By leveraging on local and international best practices and always being up to date on everything new in the field of real estate, Mohamed Khaled is able to develop new innovative designs and concepts, and is a sponsor of positive change within the organization including building a performance culture and driving Corporate Governance operating model of rules. He ensures directors are setting the right tone at the top and reinforces the importance of directors’ commitment to support the company’s Business Transformation changes & initiatives.
Mohamed graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Architecture from Misr International University in 2005. He received the Certificate of ISO Quality Assurance Register ISO 9001:2008, the Project Management Certificate at the American University in Cairo and has completed Interior Design courses at Colombini Casa Group in San Marino and a real estate marketing course at Keller Williams Worldwide in the USA.
