Amr Emad is a DJ, music producer, and co-founder of Disco Misr. Together with Mostafa El Sherif, he built Disco Misr around their shared love for the Egyptian and Arabic music they grew up with, bringing familiar songs back to the dancefloor in their own way. Their sound draws from Egyptian classics, disco, funk, house, and electronic music, while their work has also seen them collaborate with a new generation of Egyptian and Arab artists, including Wegz, as well as artists such as Aziz Maraka and tul8te. Amr remains a central part of the duo’s musical identity and live performances.
