Amina Ghali

Amina Ghali, Azza Fahmy’s youngest daughter, joined Azza Fahmy Jewellery in 2005 and spent 3 years working behind the scenes designing and developing pieces across the brand’s various collections. She impactfully endorsed and applied the brand’s ethos, of producing unique pieces that carry subtle historic and cultural references, with a contemporary modern twist. Visiting her mother’s workshop from an early age, Amina yearned to one day become a designer herself, with hard work and dedication and aided with a natural gift for design, she was able to put her passion to practice. Studying contemporary jewellery in Italy’s Alchimia School for a year, Amina went on to
obtain a BA in Jewellery Design and Silversmith at the University of Central England, Birmingham, UK. After years of researching and practicing her art, Amina successfully launched her first Azza Fahmy collection in 2008. Launching various collections and designs since, Amina has worked side by side Creative Director Azza Fahmy, as her design partner. Responsible for the ‘Azza Fahmy for Matthew Williamson’ collaboration, Amina created pieces for their SS’13 & AW’14 runway and retail collection.
Additionally, she fashioned a Bespoke culture collection celebrating the British Museum’s Egyptian exhibition, titled ‘Egypt: Faith after the Pharaohs’.
To top it off and more, Amina Ghali is the mastermind behind one of Azza Fahmy’s most successful series of collections, the ‘Wonders of Nature’ In 2016, Amina was named among Britain’s “Professional Jeweller’s – Hot 100” as one of the most influential jewellery talents and industry flag bearers Amina continuously works to push design boundaries through the introduction of cutting-edge concepts, further enhancing the design integrity of the Azza Fahmy legacy.
