After almost ten years of extensive work and career path fulfillment, Yahya finally decided to pursue his passion for filmmaking.
Graduated as an architect in 2003, and worked as an interior/furniture designer for a year, soon Yahya felt the need to express his creativity more often which led him to move to the world of advertising.
His advertising career started in 2004 as a graphic designer at a small local agency and then developed as he ended up a creative director at Leo Burnett Cairo in 2012.
Along the way, in 2010 Yahya confounded with 5 others the successful traffic app “Bey2ollak”.
Such achievements gave Yahya the confidence and expertise needed to move to the next step and become a commercial film director in 2012
Also, he never forgot his passion for psychology and to know more about the human psyche. In 2015 Yahya started his journey to become an NLP master and coach.
As a director, Yahya believes the mix of experiences he had as an advertiser, graphic designer, and architect along with his knowledge of psychology is the key to a unique filming style.
Yahya became one of the well-known directors in the advertising field, a teacher of self-awareness and human development workshops, and the director of the drama hit show “Rivo”
