Schady Wasfy is the VJ and visual artist behind Disco Misr’s visuals. Working alongside Amr Emad and Mostafa El Sherif, he brings the visual side of the project to life through film, animation, archival footage, Egyptian pop-culture references, and imagery that plays with the music’s sense of nostalgia. With a background in filmmaking and visual content, Schady has helped make Disco Misr a complete audiovisual experience where the music and visuals tell the story together. His work gives the project its distinctive visual character, connecting the songs people know with the images and memories that come with them.
