Sarah Youssef

Director, Executive Communications, Africa, Middle East & South Asia.

Sarah joined PepsiCo Egypt as the Head of Corporate Communications in 2017. In 2021, She became the Director, Executive Communications, Africa, Middle East & South Asia. Through which, she became responsible for managing the executive communications in AMESA and all corporate communication strategies in Egypt, as well as maintaining the company’s corporate reputation. Her role also includes instigating PR plans with the company’s marketing arm and brand teams for products across PepsiCo’s portfolio. She also manages the company’s corporate social responsibility agenda and drive more shared values within the community.

Sarah has more than 18 years of experience in diverse business aspects, namely corporate communications, events planning and Corporate Social Responsibility. Her extended career expertise includes multiple firms such as TRACCS, Barclays Bank Egypt, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) & Sandoz Egypt Pharma. In 2016, she joined MasterCard as the Corporate Communications Manager for Egypt & North Africa, before joining PepsiCo a year later.

During her time as an American University in Cairo (AUC) Business Administration student, Sarah participated in many extracurricular activities. She was a member of the Development program at the 16th Cairo International Model United Nations (MUN) in 2004 and the Reception Committee of the 2nd International Conference of Global Economy (ICGE) in 2001. She also directed the AUC Student Union Talent and Talk Show in 2002 and 2003.
