Sarah Moussa

With nearly 20 years of experience in strategic communications, Sarah is a bold, results-driven leader specializing in award-winning communications programs across public, private, and multilateral organizations. An IPA Effective certified professional, she is known for turning complex business challenges into impactful strategies that deliver results.

Sarah currently serves as Regional Communications Lead at IFC, the private sector arm of the World Bank Group, developing communications strategy that connects private sector development, investment impact, and stakeholder engagement into high-visibility narratives.

Her career spans continents and sectors – from heading Corporate Communications and Public Affairs at Roche Egypt, to scaling Ogilvy Cairo’s PR practice by over 400%, to managing global crisis communications, to shaping policy communications for California’s landmark healthcare reform. She began her career in the California State Assembly, where she worked while earning her BA in International Relations from UC Davis.

Off the clock, her most successful communications client remains her husband: a million-follower influencer whose entire strategy she built. She will humbly accept that as her greatest case study, while simultaneously negotiating with a son navigating middle school and a daughter who is nine going on nineteen.
