Sami Amin was born in 1966. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, specializing in Architecture, in 1988. His talent for drawing emerged from a young age, and he developed his skills in working with brass and leather during his studies.
Following his graduation, Sami Amin established his first workshop in 1990. He opened his first showroom in Zamalek in 1997, and later expanded with showrooms in Heliopolis in 2003 and Maadi in 2013.
In 2018, he also participated in teaching the leather craftsmanship course in collaboration with UNICEF.
Sami Amin’s work has gained recognition, and he has been featured on programs by BBC and MBC.
Additionally, he has showcased his designs in exhibitions at the Maison de Object in Paris in 2009 and 2010. In 2023, he opened a showroom in First Mall Giza.
