Sahar El Zoghby, an Egyptian native, one of the old veterans of the advertising industry through the past 30 years, is currently the Managing Director of one of the top 3 Advertising Agencies in Egypt, FP7 Cairo, part of McCann WorldGroup, a position she has held for the past 11 years after another 5 previous years of being the General Manager of the same company.
Mrs. El Zoghby was instrumental in the re-launching of the company, back in 2002 taking it from total billing of 5 million EGP, to current billing of 80 million EGP.
Mrs. El Zoghby’s leadership role entails the overall macro management of the entire agency, orchestrating the qualitative and financial performance of the company, ensuring the continuous evolution of the agency, and ultimately providing return on investments for shareholders and clients, while maintaining a reputation and thought leadership stature for the agency in the market.
An advertising addict and pro, She brings in vast experience and expertise in the fields of communications and advertising covering almost each and every possible field and category. She began her career, 30 years ago, in Account Management as an Account Executive at Tarek Nour Communications Group, the local pioneer in the advertising industry, moving up the ladder until she became one of three VPs of the Group and left by 2001.
