Recognized for her creativity and hard work, Rasha is an Architect with 20 years of International experience in the Innovation and creative industries.
After gaining a BSc Hons in Architecture from Faculty of Engineering- Cairo University and MSc in Sustainable Design of Built Environment from the British University of Dubai, she joined the Engineering Office of HH Shk. Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum in Dubai where she worked on many prestigious and award winning projects across the MENA region.
Later, Rasha immersed herself in the Worldwide Consultancy experience by joining the international offices of dwp, and KCA International in Dubai.
In 2013 Rasha launched her own Studio, Studio KAD, with a team of talented and like-minded Designers and Architects, specializing in Architecture, Interior Design, and Landscape.
Rasha was named an A’ Design Award Winner for the Interior Design category at the year 2017.
Rasha’s creativity, passion and devotion to her profession honored her to win the Arabian Property Awards and International Property Awards for Residential Design two consecutive times for the years 2016 and 2017, London, UK.
In the year 2020, Rasha is recognized as the first Arab Designer and Architect to be presented by She is Arab.
Rasha had succeeded presenting various instructive speaks and interesting industry topics at CityScape Global- Dubai/Abu Dhabi and the BIG5- Dubai for the past years. In addition, she is a regular design-segment honor-guest at CNN Arabic, MBC1 and Al Arabiya broadcasting channels.
Moreover, Rasha was appointed to create the operational masterplan of the Grand Egyptian Museum in the capacity of its first Director of Creative, Art, and Architecture and Principal Curator.
Rasha is on a mission to build cross-sector relationships and mutual understanding between design agencies and social ventures, and create a chance to show the power of design for causes.
