In 2.5 years, he worked on establishing a powerful digital presence for the company brands with millions of loyal followers on all social media platforms with unprecedented interactivity numbers in the brand genres and top billed rankings in Egypt and the region. He is also the mastermind behind the award-winning mobile apps for NogoumFM and NileFM.
During his 10-year professional career, Omar worked as a sports journalist and editor for Sarmady, received his Master’s degree in Television Broadcast Journalism from the University of Miami, interned with CNN International, taught journalism and television production at the Modern Science and Arts University and produced a handful of shows at ONTV, last of which was the successful sociopolitical talk-show Baladna BelMasry – in addition to producing the Arabic Dr. Oz franchise “Green Apple” on MBC.”
