After graduating from the German University in Cairo in 2012 as a graphic designer and illustrator, I decided to incorporate my design/illustration skills and my love for craft and cofounded Pheel, a design studio which offers a range of products and services centered around a manual creation process.
I strongly believe that since design is a means to add to the world, whether it be in the form of services, solutions or even commodities, it is always fascinating to go back to the roots of things and to allow the existence of the human element within the design and execution process. I heavily believe that results of this process should not always be perfect but should be allowed room to grow, advance, change and even deteriorate in order to have a real impact.
