An Egyptian national, Nihal has over a decade of experience in both the purchasing and project management space. As a senior purchasing manager, she owns and leads the strategic sourcing of printed packaging across the Middle East and Africa, overseeing a total budget of US$80 million. She also leads the Supplier Diversity strategy across Asia, Middle East and Africa. Prior to this, she oversaw chemicals and energy purchasing for key markets in the Middle East and Africa.
Nihal joined Procter & Gamble in 2013. Before this, she worked in Dubai with Cummins as a project manager for the company’s Middle East power systems operations. From 2008 to 2011, Nihal was based in Alexandria and worked as a project engineer with Mantrac, the distributor of the Caterpillar brand in Egypt.
Nihal has a Bachelor of Science in electronics and communication engineering from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology in Alexandria, Egypt. Her interests include reading, music, traveling and jogging.
