Maha Sulaiman Alnuhait – General Manager of Sustainability at STC
Maha Sulaiman Alnuhait oversees and directs Saudi Telecom Company’s sustainability work across the company’s operations. Drawing on over twenty years’ experience in various executive and administrative positions within the private, public, and third sector, she ensures the company balances its business practices with holistic, green methodology, giving back to the environment what’s been taken out of it to ensure sustainable living for future generations nationwide. This is an integral cornerstone of STC’s efforts to contribute towards Saudi Vision 2030’s strategic objectives, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the Kingdom.
She’s considered it her privilege to serve Saudi Arabia in different roles across her career. In a managerial capacity, she was previously entrusted as Corporate Communication Advisor at the Ministry of Energy, the Governor’s Advisor of Community Engagement at the Small and Medium Enterprises Authority, and the CEO of the first BIBAN SME Forum and Exhibition, where she was part of the collective steering its entrepreneurship development, community engagement, and brand. In the private sector, she is a founding partner and Senior Sustainability & Social Investment Advisor of Sustainable Square – KSA, a glocal advisory firm that offers redefined solutions for social investment, sustainability and environmental practices, is cofounder of Athar Consultancy—a specialized accountancy and business consultancy firm—and a member of Youth Business Council-Riyadh. In previous positions, she headed female administration in Riyadh Municipality, worked as a Public Relations Manager, and worked as a financial resource development officer at charity organizations.
Her charity work has been recognized and certified. A believer in the importance of opening the door to younger generations, she has completed different completed workshops to her name, including ToT of Leadership, SROI Social Impact, Global Reporting Initiative, Strategy Tools and Decision Making and Leadership & Change Management Certification, and the Authentic Leader Development from Harvard Business School Executive Education
