Kegham Djeghalian is a Cairo and Paris based creative director, fashion practitioner, visual artist and educator, whose work lie in the intersection of fashion practices, education, photography and the archive. He is Professor of Fashion Practices, Image & Design at the German International University (GIU) where he is the Artistic Director of the Department of Fashion Design.
He worked, consulted and collaborated with a diverse repertoire of local and international fashion houses, agencies and publications; his visual arts work and interventions were exhibited locally and internationally in galleries and museums the likes of the Centre Pompidou-Paris and the Photographers’ Gallery-London.
Djeghalian is the creative director and curator of an educational design partnership between Christian Dior Paris and The German International University in Egypt, Dior x GIU Lab, the first international design education collaboration of Dior.
He has been a faculty member of the Photography Department at Paris College of Art (PCA) since 2016. He lectured at the Institut Français de la Mode (IFM) in Paris where he served as the pedagogic director of the MA program in Image Design in Fashion in 2018 – 2019.
