Hend Riad is a multi-awarded designer, & cofounder of REFORM STUDIO. She founded Reform in 2012 with her partner Mariam Hazem.
REFORM is an internationally awarded sustainable lifestyle brand based in Cairo & Dubai. Its main goal is to design for a cause while promoting sustainable luxury. The brand Promotes for ethical design by producing a whole range of high end fashion accessories, furniture & Home accessories; all are handmade out of up-cycled plastic bags and high end materials.
The brand goal is to design creative, responsible products that benefit the environment & have a positive impact on the society by empowering local craftsmen and women with limited resources.
They’ve managed to win prestigious awards, like Cartier Women’s Initiative award in Paris, Rossana Orlandi Prize in Milan, Salone Internazionale del Mobile prize & many others.. in 2023 the brand was chosen to be showcased in the V&A Museum in London.
