Fufa El Ashiry is an Egyptian designer renowned for her bohemian and travel-centric approach to fashion. Born and raised in Cairo, her creative journey began at the age of 10, fueled by her grandmother’s passion for blending patterned fabrics collected from exotic travels, and her deep love for the Egyptian culture. She pursued her bachelor’s degree in the American University in Cairo while simultaneously immersing herself in the world of fashion by studying at the Italian fashion Academy. This dual educational experience, along with her invested vision and persistence, laid the foundation for her to begin her journey as the Founder and designer of the clothing company FUFA, operating today 5 retail stores and an online platform.
With a commitment to sustainability and ethical production, FUFA’s collections not only showcase the designer’s artistic flair but also reflect her dedication to social and environmental responsibility. Through her work, she continues to shed light on the beautiful destinations in Egypt, promoting the culture, the people and their wonderful creations.
