With an ambitious mindset, Ethar El Shabrawy started her career journey in 2005, after earning her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from The American University in Cairo (AUC). It was during her “year abroad” at the “American InterContinental University” in London, where she has established an interest and passion in Marketing, and later established it as her lifelong career
After graduating, she started her career in the banking sector and soon after joined Orange; both experiences prepared her for the corporate journey that she had embarked on. In 2005, Shabrawy went into the communications agency world, the dynamic world that gave her experience in Brand and Communication, working on strategic thinking, strategic planning, integrated marketing across different accounts that exposed her to multiple sectors; Telecom, Real Estate and FMCGs. A journey in communication that continued for over 7 years
In 2011, Shabrawy decided to take her years of experience and make a shift into the entrepreneurial world. Along with a group of passionate, enthusiastic, young and fresh Egyptian minds and lifelong friends from diversified backgrounds in Logistics, Sales and Engineering, who shared the same dream of creating a group of companies each filling a gap in the Egyptian market, they established ACME Group. Year on year they saw their hard work, dedication and passion come to life.
With a first of its kind in Egypt, ElShabrawy established an agency that is fully dedicated to creating interactive and engagement solutions, creating customer experiences between brands and their target audience in on-ground, retail and online platforms.
“ACME Engagement Solutions” managed to create customer experiences for brands such as Coca Cola, Nestle, Unilever, Mondelez, Ford, Orange and many other names in Egypt. Representing Egyptian companies in the GCC, ElShabrawy soon after established ACME Group in Dubai, catering its products and services across the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia. Currently the company is a leader in its specialty in the Market and is one of the fastest growing agencies in Egypt and GCC
