Spent the first 21 years of her life in water competing for Team Egypt as an Olympic synchronized swimmer. Art and design were always secondary hobbies that only got developed during her years studying graphic design in college. In 2019, while working her daily job as a graphic designer in a renowned agency, Dara, with little calculation, joined forces with her mother, Dalia to bring RebelCairo to life with no previous experience in fashion, production, or running a business. Four years later, RebelCairo has grown to introduce new products to the market every season with a distinctive fingerprint and clients purchasing from all over the world across all continents. The brand has garnered the attention of Vogue Arabia, Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, and has dressed Elisa Sednaoui, Nelly Karim, Hend Sabri, Khaled Al Nabawy, and Mohamed Mounir to name a few.
