Alia El-Askalany

Lulu always had a dormant passion for food & cuisine, which came out after she took a break from the corporate world, in 2014. Lulu worked on her cuisine skills at Cordon Bleu London, coupled with cooking classes & kitchen apprenticeships at places such as Jamie Oliver’s Recipease, L’Atelier Des Chefs and Pip’s Dish, Covent Garden.

In Feb 2017, she took it up a notch and pursued Italian cuisine for an intensive month – particularly Tuscan– at the Florence Culinary Art School in Florence, Italy. Lulu’s experience extended to Beirut, Lebanon where she held her 1st pop up brunch in 2016 at Moto, Mar Mikhaeil as well as locally with different chefs when consulting on restaurant menus.

Lulu shines when she’s around food, she works her way around the kitchen be it the Cooking Classes, the menus she develops or when she’s preparing for an unforgettable table for 40 people for the Wanderlust Dinner series.
