Ali Alkalthami is the Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Telfaz11, an award-winning filmmaker and writer from Saudi Arabia. Ali is renowned for his ability to bring characters to life through his work. Under his leadership, Telfaz11 has cultivated a company culture that fosters creativity and reflects the voice of generations. Ali mentors a dynamic team of writers and directors, focused on growing talents and pushing their creative boundaries.
Known for his deep connection to Saudi society and his rich storytelling abilities – Ali is the writer and director of “Mandoob,” set to be Telfaz11’s most prominent international film, scheduled to debut at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) this September.
In June 2023, Ali was recognized alongside co-founders Alaa Fadan and Ibraheem Alkhairallah as one of Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business. Together, they have played a pivotal role in driving Telfaz11’s expansion and shaping Saudi Arabia’s entertainment industry and local creative culture. Before founding Telfaz11, Ali gained substantial expertise during his five-year tenure with MBC Group, and he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
