Ahmed is the Co-CEO of Tarek Nour Holdings and servers on its board of directors.
Before being named the Co-CEO in September 2020, Ahmed became a partner and was appointed to be the Group Managing Partner in January 2017, and he first joined the group in February 2000.
Tarek Nour Holdings is comprised of 14 companies that operate in the fields of; advertising, media, production, experience marketing, digital, out-of-home, events, fairs management & broadcasting. Tarek Nour Holdings became part of Omnicom (one of the biggest communications groups in the word) in 2008.
Ahmed started his career in early 2000 and currently has 22 years of experience. He also headed DDB Group Egypt (one of the top three advertising agencies in the world), as its Managing Director for 3 years. Prior to heading DDB Group Egypt, Ahmed operated in Sudan for 5 years, founding two companies; Tarek Nour Sudana & The Box for outdoors, that still lead the market to date. During his stay in Sudan, Ahmed was chosen, alongside 6 other members, to be part of MTN’s Global Brand Team, that was responsible for designing and implementing communications plans in 21 countries in Africa, Middle East & Europe.
Besides his role in leading the group, Ahmed is directly responsible to overlook the growth of Content, Properties, Events and International markets within the group.
Across his career Ahmed has worked on more than 300 brands (local & International) and won a few international & regional awards.
Ahmed has earned his bachelor degree of commerce, foreign trade & business administration from Helwan University in 1999 and attended several leadership & management programs by London School of Business, Harvard Business School & INSEAD.
