Saudi identity is not expressed through a single image, rhythm or tradition. It is shaped by the Kingdom’s regions, histories, communities and the artists translating them for the present. Bringing together mural artist Noura Bin Saidan and composer Aziz Saleem, this session explores how Saudi identity can be seen, heard and felt across different creative mediums. Through colour, scale, melody and sound, the two artists discuss drawing from heritage without reducing it to familiar symbols, creating work that feels contemporary yet unmistakably Saudi, and giving local culture a creative language that can resonate with audiences around the world.
