Dubbed the “New Media God Father” in Saudi Arabia, Kaswara Al-Khatib is a serial entrepreneur and the founder of UTURN, an online entertainment network which breaks free from conventional media and provides Saudis, particularly young people, with relevant content that speaks directly to their social needs and aspirations.
Kaswara began his career as a marketing specialist at Procter & Gamble before founding the first Saudi advertising agency in 2002; FullStop Advertising, which became a full-fledged communications group. He then founded Made in Saudi Films; a fully- fledged production and post-production house. In 2010, Kaswara founded UTURN, which became one of the largest entertainment networks in the Arab world by providing relevant content that appeals to the life of Saudi millennials and Gen Zs in the most entertaining, fun, and comic way.
In 2018, his group, UTURN Group, merged with Webedia Middle East to form Webedia Arabia, an Entertainment Content creator and distributor, which he currently chairs.
