Dave is the Country Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of L’Oréal Egypt. He has been in the beauty industry for over 20 years and has substantial marketing, sales and general management experience on both an international and local market level.
Prior to his current position, Dave Hughes was the General Manager of L’Oréal Caribe, which has its headquarters in Puerto Rico and a presence on 25 Caribbean islands. Dave was also the General Manager of L’Oréal’s Consumer Product Division in South Africa before moving to Puerto Rico. Additionally, he worked for L’Oréal USA in New York, where he was Vice President of L’Oréal Paris Haircare for two years and Vice President/National Sales Manager of the L’Oréal Paris Walmart team for two years.
Through his journey in the beauty industry in L’Oreal and before that in P&G for 11 years, he has built a reputation as a strong people leader with a consistent track record of success. Dave is graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, with a bachelor’s in business administration
