Bassem Elhady is a computer and systems engineer, internet entrepreneur, digital strategist, online researcher and analyst. He is the founder and CEO of Kijamii; a Cairo based agency specialized in Digital and Technology.
He has been focusing since Kijamii started on creating unique social experiences for brands online. They use all digital experiences from strategies, content storytelling, apps, analysis and employ new technologies to serve brands’ aims and objectives with creative campaigns.
He succeeded to take Kijamii into a new level of global localization strategy through working with Netflix, SoundCloud, Chelsea, AS Roma and Fc Bayern on managing their online strategies in the Middle East. This has given the chance to Kijamii to have their global exposure with a local taste.
Bassem is also widely known for his digital strategic planning coupled with a deep technical knowledge. His clients include also brands like Philips, Huawei, DHL, Nestle, Pepsico, Vodafone, United Nations Huawei and others on different digital scopes to help them listen, build and engage with their communities over the past years. He is also the Cofounder of TEDxCairo, part of the independently organized TEDx program dedicated to ideas worth spreading.
Bassem is the winner of the Young Creative Entrepreneur Media award 2012 by the British Council.
He also participated in many local and international conferences and he was honored to join as a speaker in Skoll world Forum in Social Entrepreneurship, March 2012 at University of Oxford where he spoke about social media and entrepreneurship in the Middle East.
Bassem is an INJAZ Egypt alumnus, where he first discovered his entrepreneurial streak. He is passionate about studying and understanding users’ behaviors on various social networks.
