Basma Has a rich 18-year career. Is a successful Chef, food entrepreneur and hospitality industry expert. Her extensive experience spans all areas of business from bootstrapping restaurant start-ups, raising institutional investment for concept chains, to Developing a full-fledged F&B Experience.
Basma is now a leading strategy and innovation consultant working with SME & companies on the creation of new profitable F&B & Hospitality turn key Concepts.
After leading the Social Kitchen’s growth in Jeddah for four years, and opening the Social Bakery she has She Started her own consulting & Management Firm (The Social Group, now known as ACL) to deliver on F&B strategy projects helping brands and owners assess the market, find the right concept positioning and/or operator and chef for the properties through strategic advice and review.
Her focus is mostly on F&B experience development projects with a portfolio that includes The Social Kitchen, The Social Bakery Jeddah Season 2019, Middle Beast, The Social Summer X Oia, and the launch of her new QSR Brands through (Arabian Culinary Logistics)
She has also launched 2 new upscale restaurants in Jeddah ( Alieía ) a Greek fish restaurant , & (Khalila) A middle eastern membership lounge right on the red sea. With more to come in Q4 2024
She has also Consulted on various major hospitality & Entertainment events in Saudi Arabia from an F&B Sector.
