Over the last number of years, I have studied Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, Math,
Business and Law in hope to try and positively impact the most amount of people. With
that logic, I have founded and co-founded a number of startups and social enterprises
along the way. Some failed and were an amazing learning experience, while many others
succeeded and went on to be fully sustainable to this day, such as “One for Ireland”, which
managed to raise over 400 thousand euros in 4 days and build over 15 new projects to
help tackle youth homelessness and mental health in Ireland using a unique donation
model that we created around uniting all of Ireland donating 1 Euro in 1 day for 1 cause,
“The Good Summit” which is a movement spanning different continents aimed to
showcase how everyone in society can be part of societal change where we also held the
first Zero Waste event in the Middle East earlier this year in Cairo, and many more
startups tackling the refugee crisis, storytelling platforms for the deaf community,
working on empowering more millennials to read, and now working as Growth Director in
Fakahany which is an e-commerce we created to deliver high-quality fresh fruits at a very
affordable price, we are able to achieve this balance due to us being an end-end solution
and working straight from farm to fridge.
Hence why I got recognised by numerous organisations as a leader in the field of
entrepreneurship and social innovation, such as being a World Economic Forum Global
Shaper, Young Social Innovators Hero of the Year 2018, Ashoka Changemaker, U.S State
Government “Ireland’s Emerging Leader of the Year” 2018, Washington Ireland Program
alumn 2016, Ireland’s best young entrepreneur regional winner, honored the by European
Union as one of 2 young leaders asked to address and give a keynote addressing the
assembly in Luxembourg, and many others.
Due to these reasons, I was lucky enough to be appointed as the Irish Delegate at the ESA
lobbying group in Washington DC, and at the EU in Luxembourg and recently worked in
the European Parliament in the scientific foresight unit specialising in Artificial
Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Medical Devices. And now, besides working on my social
enterprises I am currently focusing on AI, where alongside my co-founder, we have
created a new AI that is able to detect and predict the impact of any event around the
world in real time using image, video and text recognition.
