Saif El-Demerdash
Services Vice President, Schneider Electric North East Africa, and Levant
El-Demerdash is the Vice President of the Services business unit at Schneider Electric North East
Africa and Levant. He is responsible for leading the Services basket, developing and executing
strategic priorities, in addition to handling the digital transformation of distribution networks in the
cluster. He is also a certified mentor at Schneider Electric.
Prior to holding his current position, El-Demerdash started his journey at Schneider Electric back in
2010 as General Manager and country leader at Delixi Electric Egypt, one of Schneider Electric’s
subsidiaries. He was mainly handling the Retails and Channels Development unit at Schneider
Electric Egypt and North East Africa, where he managed to develop a new distribution model in
Egypt leading to an additional 15% growth in sales.
Before joining Schneider Electric, El-Demerdash started his career in 2003, filling various roles in
Production, Sales and Management, in some local and multinational organizations that are
specialized in the manufacturing and integration of electric systems, such as Siemens.
El-Demerdash graduated in 2001 from Cairo University with a bachelor’s degree in
Electromechanical Engineering. He also holds an MBA from Northampton University, UK, in addition
to a diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership from Pearson University, UK. El-Demerdash is
also a certified mind gym trainer for various leadership programs.
