Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of Alexandria (2008) and a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Cultural Management from the Sophia University Institute in Italy 2014.
He began his career at the Jesuit Cultural Centre in Alexandria, where he served as Programme Manager, leading multidisciplinary cultural programmes and supporting artistic production and community engagement initiatives.In 2019, he was selected to participate in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) in the United States, where he explored international practices in cultural management and creative sector development.
In 2022, Creta participated in the Mediterranean Forum in Marseille, where he contributed to the “2030 Mediterranean Appeal,” a cultural policy proposal presented to the French President. Later that year, in Alexandria, he was awarded the title of Chevalier (Knight) of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French Ministry of Culture, in recognition of his contributions to the cultural field.
In 2023, he further strengthened his expertise in the cultural sector by completing a programme offered by the DeVos Institute of Arts Management. Since May 2023, Creta has been working with the British Council as an Arts Project Manager. In 2025, he became Creative Economy Lead, focusing on cultural policy development, sector support, and fostering sustainable growth across the creative industries.
