Malak Hatem

Malak Hatem is a 22-year-old Egyptian educational content creator, youth advocate and public speaker who began her journey at the age of 17. Since then, she has built a platform of over 1.77 million followers across social media, dedicating her work to a single mission: closing the gap between young Arabs’ circumstances and their access to life-changing educational opportunities. Through her content, she has guided hundreds of thousands of Arab youth toward scholarships, exchange programmes, and career pathways they may never have discovered otherwise.

Her collaborations span some of the most respected institutions in education and development globally, including the British Council, ETS, GMAC, McKinsey & Company, UNDP, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, ALX, the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity, the Ministry of Communication, and major universities across the region including the American University in Cairo, AASTMT, Cairo University, and Ain Shams University.

Malak has been recognised on both national and international stages. She was named the most creative media student in Egypt and selected by the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity — the world’s largest gathering of creative professionals — to represent Egypt at their annual festival in Cannes, France. She was one of only two Egyptian media figures invited to the WISE Summit in Qatar 2025, one of the largest education summits in the world. She is a winner of the Visit Saudi campaign competition 2024, a member of EUJEEL Connect — the European Union’s selective youth ambassador network in Egypt — and a Tourism Ambassador for Heilongjiang Province in China. She was selected to meet the First Lady of the United States during her visit to Egypt as a model of Egypt’s driven and conscious youth, and serves as an Ambassador of the Sociathon initiative under Egypt’s Ministry of Social Solidarity.

Malak has been featured on major Egyptian broadcasters including El Mashhad UAE, MBC Misr, CBC Extra, and DMC, and has been profiled by China Daily for her role in strengthening Egyptian-Chinese cultural exchange.
