Sara Balawalashi grew up with a camera as an extension of her arm, and she used its lens to interpret the world around her. Even though she graduated in Marketing Management, Sara pursued her inquisitive and creative side as a form of an expression which in turn quickly evolved into an all-consuming passion. This is when she decided to redeploy her skills into What has become her true calling; Capturing Neverland.
Today, Sara Balawalashi continues to rove the world in order to nurture, uplift, and inspire children through Capturing Neverland, an initiative she founded at the age of 22 years old, with the objective of teaching photography to underprivileged children using creativity as a mean for empowerment. Sara has taken Capturing Neverland to 14 countries involving 364 children, opening new horizons for them beyond their actual state.
