Mohamed started his career in the events organization business but then quickly shifted gears to media to kick off in Starcom handling the Coca Cola business in Egypt, and getting an exposure many would have wished for during their media career. Mohamed’s second stop was at MCN, working on one of the big pitches of the group at the time in 2006, which was Etisalat, where the business was landed. Later, Mohamed was assigned to take care of the Americana business as well in Initiative (Restaurants & FMCG). Mohamed’s final stop in the multinational world was in Mindshare with the mission was to lead the operations of the Cairo office, re-launch the brand, build a team and grow the business. The results where outstanding, where the percentage of growth was approx. 350%, and a solid team was hired winning each and every pitch entered during 2013 & 2014. After a very challenging journey in MediaVest, MCN & WPP, Mohamed saw an opportunity in launching BellCom in 2015, a local brand with a multinational offering/product, this including tools, caliber, service. BellCom is now among the top ranked local media agencies in town, and was the fastest growing agency in 2015, not only landing local players in the market, but also multinational ones, such as: Nissan, HTC & Big Cola, in addition to Cook Door, Eva Cosmetics, Ezz Steel, Cheesa and many others.
