Maria S. Muñoz co-founded Slickr with a myriad of skills derived from her diverse professional and personal experiences. Maria holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Studies as well as a Master of Arts in Middle East Studies.

An advocate for women’s rights, she co-founded Tahrir Bodyguard and Dignity Without Borders, two startups working towards gender equality.

Additionally, María has accumulated experience over the course of the past three years working in Marketing and PR, one of her passions, which as enabled her to create an extensive network of support.

A firm believer of innovation and technology, María has been working full time on Slickr for the past seven months with the idea of expanding this fashion social network internationally.
