Amr Mansi

Mansi, a former PSA World Tour player who ranked amongst the top 50 players worldwide currently holds the position of CEO and founder of “I Events”, the organizing company of El Gouna International Squash Open and Orascom Development PSA Women’s World Championship. Mansi is also the CEO and Co Founder to El Gouna Film Festival.

In his mid-20s, Mansi had a vision to organize an international squash tournament on Egyptian grounds, provide new opportunities for Egypt’s players to succeed on home shores and turn Egypt in to the number one destination for squash. Mansi succeeded in turning his dreams in to reality in 2010 when he founded El Gouna International Tournament which ended up being one of the world’s biggest squash events that was carried on six times since founded in the years to follow.

In an effort to boost Egypt’s tourism and grow the sport some more in Egypt, Mansi revived Al-Ahram Squash Open, a tournament held by the Giza pyramids that ended 10 years ago and was never brought back to life until 2016. Mansi also organized the Alexandria International Squash Open tournament which was held at the iconic Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

Prior to that, Mansi was the head coach of Sporting Club’s squash team in Alexandria as well as squash coach to the Egyptian squash national team in 2014, leading them to winning the World Squash Championship under 19 years of age. In August 2014, Mansi received Egypt’s First Class Sports Award from President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi.

Mansi was born in Alexandria, Egypt, on the 13th of June, 1982. He graduated from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology in Alexandria with a degree in Business Administration
