She then moved to Promoters Egypt, where she worked on a variety of event scopes ranging from concerts, corporate events to Expos for example Egypt’s Air Show AVEX.

Moving back to the client side, Khalil joined EFG Hermes as a Regional Events Manager, where she held a diversified portfolio of events, such as The ONE-ON-ONE Conference, Sharm El Sheikh, a 5 day conference with 650 key Global & Local Investors, ACCESS 09, Dubai. EGYPT CAPITAL DAY, LONDON.

Among Khalil’s main achievements is holding the Official Gala Dinner of Economic Development Conference, Sharm El Sheikh 14, where she created a venue from scratch for this event in order to ensure the right experience.

Khalil established The Worx for Events with her business partner Mai Salama in December 2014, a women led events management company where they set out to make a difference in the event industry and scene in Egypt.

In just 5 years they have managed to become the talk of town, 2 hard-working women in an industry led by men managed to created platforms and experiences the that not only the whole town look forward to and is always on the must attend list, but also inspire, young women to break any boundaries and seek their full potential.

Khalil & her business partner Salama are a true example of partnership and mentorship. Khalil specializes in logistics, planning and structure while Salama specializes in communication, conceptualization and marketing, Together they build extraordinary experiences. They are also the true example of mentorship where they believe in nurturing young talent. At any given month there are always interns working closely with the team in order to learn more about the real world and get them ready for their futures.

In just five years, The Worx for Events has managed to take the market by storm, with the platforms they built and introduced to the market. Such as
Creative Industry Summit, Cannes Lions Festival Of Creativity, Esports Summit and  their most recent launch The Nu Digital Awards.  They also brought to Egypt the international platform Women Economic Forum, which was their latest conference in early March with over 80 business women from 75 countries.

All the above falls in line with the vision of growing and evolving the event industry in Egypt as well as in putting Egypt back on the map of Event Destinations.
