Ahmed has started his advertising and media career in 2001 when first joined Tarek Nour Communications Group. Currently Ahmed is a Managing Partner responsible for business initiatives across Tarek Nour Holding Group making sure clients are getting bigger/better deals as well as maximizing financial benefits of the group. Tarek Nour Holdings is a full-fledged communications corporation, including Advertising, Media, Production, Outdoors, Events, and broadcasting.

Ahmed is among the Group High Committee that sets targets & strategies for the holding companies. TNH owns one of the nation’s largest private Media buying units and the acclaimed TV Network AL Kahera Wal Nas, which is at the forefront popular entertainment television. Tarek Nour Holdings is affiliated to DDB Worldwide which is a member of Omnicom Group the largest communications house in the world with billings exceeding $18bn a year.

The toughest challenge that Ahmed had, was founding a branch for the Agency in Sudan in 2005. Ahmed left Sudan in 2011 after founding 2 companies; Tarek Nour Sudana (the leading advertising agency in Sudan. Its scope covered creative, media and production services) and The BOX for outdoors (out-of- home advertising company). Tarek Nour Sudana has marked history by revolutionizing the country’s communication industry in Sudan.

Ahmed was proudly selected alongside 6 other members, to form MTN Global Brand Team, that was responsible for all brand and communication activities in 21 countries in 3 continents. During that time, MTN became the leading telecom operator in Africa and the Middle East.

In 2011, Ahmed was back to Egypt and co-founded Nour Badie Advertising Agency (a member of Tarek Nour Holdings) which became one of the top 10 agencies in the market in 3 years.

In 2014 Ahmed was assigned the role of reviving DDB Egypt back to life. Ahmed was named DDB Group Managing Director. A turnaround was made and the company leaped in one year. In 2016, DDB Egypt has shown a major come back to put its name back on the map of the leading advertising agencies.

Ahmed was awarded alongside his team, 8 international & regional Creative & Effectiveness Awards (Lynx, AME, African Cristal, MENA Cristal) for working on campaigns like; Tiger Chips & Schweppes.

Ahmed also has considerable amount of experience in political advertising and behavioral change

campaigns;

• Presidential & Parliamentary Elections Campaign in Sudan in 2010.

• Referendum campaign in Sudan in 2011.

• Presidential campaign in Egypt in 2013 – Ahmed Shafiq’s Campaign.

• Constitution campaign in Egypt in 2014.

• Presidential elections campaign in Egypt in 2014 in support of the current president.

In recent years Ahmed has contributed in developing a few governmental campaigns including; Ministry of Electricity (Enta El 7al) , Ministry of Petroleum (Waffar lee nafsak) , Ministry of Planning & The Cabinet (Sustainable Development Strategy 2020). Fund raising, charity and public awareness campaigns was also part of Ahmed’s experience; launching Beit El Zakat Wal Sadakat El Masry, Ahl Masr Foundation (Burns Hospital) and developing campaigns for Women Empowerment (Taa Marbouta), Sexual Harassment & FGM (Saleema).

Besides advertising and media, Ahmed also has an extensive background in productions, film directing and TV content. In 2003, he co-founded LUV media, the first specialized production company in TV content, and created the first reality show in the region “Star Maker”. This company expanded in this field and produced the region’s best comedy shows, talk show and game shows. One of its best was Hussien El Eman Candid Camera Trilogy; 3ala El Hawa, Fel Studio & 3ala El Nasya.

In 16 years Ahmed has worked on over 200 campaigns, and not less than 350 ad productions and 10 TV shows (entertainment, drama, sitcoms, comedy and game shows).
